Under the shadow of mountains bold,
Where stories gather and hearts unfold,
Sits a place where wheels find rest—
Willard Peak Campground, simply the best.
Where rigs roll in from near and far,
Guided by sunset, moon, and star,
With every mile, a tale to tell,
Of highways traveled and journeys well.
Neighbors wave with a knowing smile,
“Stay a day… or stay awhile,”
Chairs unfold, the laughter starts,
Strangers quickly become warm hearts.
The hum of engines fades away,
Replaced by games and time to play,
Popcorn popping, stories shared,
A sense of home that can’t be compared.
From waffles served with joy and cheer,
To campfire nights that draw you near,
There’s magic here in simple things—
The peace that open living brings.
So here’s to the road, both long and wide,
And the life we live with pride inside,
But no matter where your travels roam,
